The International Conference Center (ICC) Ghent lies in a tranquil oasis in the middle of Ghent's largest park, the Citadel Park, next to two major museums: the world-renowned City Museum for Contemporary Art (SMAK), and the Museum of Fine Arts (MSK). The conference center is a highly compact and practical building offering a 975-seat auditorium and multiple break-out rooms, two large open floors for breaks, posters, and exhibitors, and large dining halls for seated lunches. There is also a brasserie café within the conference building. The complex is fully accessible to the disabled. The ICC Ghent is centrally located near the international railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters, near the access roads to the E40 and E17 motorways, and just 45 minutes from Brussels Airport. Most hotels and the Old Town pedestrian area are readily accessible on foot or by public transportation.
