Arif Dönmez

I am trained in pure mathematics, focusing on geometry, representation theory, and classification.

After my PhD, I moved into environmental health, applying mathematics and computation to evaluate neurotoxicity. At the Leibniz Research Institute IUF , I led data evaluation for studies connected to the U.S. National Toxicology Program, co-led technical work for the ENDpoiNTs project, and contributed to peer-reviewed studies.

I co-founded DNTOX, leading technical and application work in regulatory toxicology. I design compliant, reproducible systems integrating toxicology, statistics, and software engineering.

I also advise at the science-policy interface, serving as a hearing expert for the EFSA Neurotoxicity Working Group.

Currently, I study neural and population dynamics in machine learning and neuroscience, focusing on how structure is discovered and behaves under constraint.
