IECQ Schedule of Fees
This Operational Document details the general fees
for participation within the IECQ Scheme applicable to member countries,
through their IECQ Member Body (NAI) and their Supervising Inspectorates
/ Certification Bodies. Fees associated with approved organisations
that make use of the Scheme are considered in as much as they relate
to the operation of the Scheme. These costs DO NOT cover the actual
testing, assessment and certification costs of the individual bodies.
Each Member Body (NAI, National Authorised Institution), SI (Supervising
Inspectorate) is free to charge its own fees for its services in a competitive
environment.
The IECQ Scheme operates on a cost recovery basis
to avoid placing any undue financial burden on the International Electrotechnical
Commission (IEC). The "Operational Fees" referred to within
this document are those fees that provide an income whereby a fully
functional International Certification Scheme for the global community
can be maintained. The method or means by which Member Bodies and SIs
recover the annual fees is a matter for those bodies to determine.
