SI Capability Declaration for
Extension of Scope
This form provides the mechanism for an IECQ Approved
Supervising Inspectorate (SI) to declare its capability to conduct assessment
and issue IECQ Certification to IECQ Schemes outside its currently approved
scope of operation.
This form shall be completed by the SI and only after
the SI has conducted an internal review and is satisfied that all requirements
concerning the IECQ Scheme, the subject of a scope extension have been
met.
Once completed, this form is to be submitted to the
IECQ Secretariat for processing.
Upon receipt by the Secretariat, the application
for extension of scope shall be reviewed with the Secretary consulting
with IECQ Chairman and Officers and Assessors as necessary. A decision
will then be made whether or not further information is required or
a site visit is to be conducted.
