Biography:
Managing Partner of Change Management Consulting, Inc., Stan Cherkasky has more than 35 years of diversified business and consulting experience in both the private and public sectors in the United States and abroad. Stan specializes in working closely with managers to achieve breakthrough financial, organizational, and operating improvement. As an innovative change agent, he helps clients transform from traditional structures to nimbler “sense and respond”—agile organizations.
Founder of the firm, Stan positioned it to become a global leader in the design and implementation of customized change management and continual improvement processes. He is the principal architect of the Performance Improvement Breakthrough™ methodology and the Six Sigma Lean Advantage™—two innovative and proven strategies that accelerate ROI and net income improvement, build customer loyalty, and create world-class recognition.
Stan is known for his focus on leadership development, corporate governance, team building, and bottom-line savings. He has personally guided more than 30 leading organizations to realize a competitive advantage, and trained more than 15,000 managers in advanced leadership skills, business ethics, organizational effectiveness, continual improvement, and change management techniques.
Stan was President and Chief Operating Officer of GGI, Inc., an international management consulting firm, and Vice President of Quality Worldwide for Revlon. He has held senior quality management positions with Leviton Manufacturing Company and the Singer Company.
Appointed to the National Advisory Council for Quality, Stan is a Baldrige certified senior examiner for the New Jersey State Quality Achievement Award. He is the author of numerous publications and training manuals in the management field, and has been quoted in the New York Times, Business Week, and Fortune.
A dynamic performance coach, Stan is a member of the American Society for Quality and the American Management Association. He served as Chairman of the North Jersey section of ASQ and Treasurer for the National Administrative Applications Division where he managed and coordinated all fiscal affairs and financial reporting. His academic credentials include a BS in Engineering and a Master’s in Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
