Biography: Joe Chapman is a consultant currently serving the Electronics Industry and the United States Department of Defense. He has 42 years of experience, having completed a 32 year career in the Semiconductor group of Texas Instruments prior to beginning his consulting. Mr. Chapman serves on the GEIA Avionics Process Management Committee-APMC and also on the Executive Board of the Aerospace Vehicle Systems Institute-AVSI. Mr. Chapman is a past Chairman of the Government Procurement Committee of the Semiconductor Industry Association and currently is an officer of The Electronic Components Certification Board (ECCB) in the US and an officer of the IECQ-International Electrotechnical Commission Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components with headquarters offices in Geneva, Switzerland.
