Biography: Bryan Brady is the Vice-President, Director of the Defense/Aerospace Business Unit at Avnet Electronics Marketing, the world's largest distributor of electronic components and computer products and the leading supplier of electronic components to the Defense and Aerospace market. Mr. Brady began his career in 1988 with Hamilton/Avnet's corporate military semiconductor group and held various asset management and product marketing positions before serving in sales and sales management positions in the Los Angeles market. In March of 1999, Mr. Brady was named the Director of Avnet's Military Semiconductor Business Unit and has been responsible for the company's military semiconductor operation in North America to include assets, pricing, product marketing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and market strategy. He was promoted to Vice-President in February of 2002. In January of 2005 his responsibility was expanded to include sales responsibility for the Defense/Aerospace Channel. Mr. Brady has served on multiple GEIA working groups and is an elected Board Member of ECCB which is the United States' National Authorized Institute for the IECQ. Mr. Brady holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA and resides in Chandler, Arizona with his wife and three children.
